Common issues

Problems we solve every week

Most small-business tech emergencies come down to a handful of causes. We know where to look.

  • Website is down

Error messages, a blank page, or a “not secure” warning. We find out whether it’s hosting, DNS, SSL or the site itself, and get it back up.

  • SSL certificate errors

Browsers warning visitors away from your site because a certificate expired or isn’t installed correctly.

  • Hacked website or account

Spam pages, redirects to strange sites, or a compromised email account sending phishing to your contacts.

Remote support

Something technical isn’t working? We can help.

Most website, email, DNS and hosting problems can be fixed securely online, often faster than waiting for someone to visit.

  • Website errors, downtime and security warnings
  • Email that won’t send, won’t arrive or lands in spam
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 account issues
  • Domain, DNS and SSL problems after a change

How we help

Support that actually solves the problem

  • Diagnosis first

We find the actual cause before changing anything, so the fix lasts and nothing else breaks.

  • Plain-English updates

You’ll know what went wrong, what we did, and how to avoid it next time.

  • Documented

We record the logins, settings and changes so the next problem is faster to solve, whoever handles it.

  • Technical consulting

Before you buy software, switch providers or sign a contract, get an independent technical opinion.

Getting help faster

What to include when you contact us

The more we know up front, the faster we can help. Don’t worry if you don’t have all of this. Just tell us what you see.

  • Your website address and/or email domain
  • What’s happening, and when it started
  • Any error message (a screenshot is perfect)
  • Anything that changed recently: new host, new staff, a renewal, a DNS edit
  • Who you think manages your domain, hosting and email (if known)

Most technology problems touch more than one thing. Because we handle all of these, you deal with one team instead of coordinating several providers.

FAQ

IT & Technical Support questions

Do you offer one-time support or only contracts?

Both. You can contact us for a single problem, or arrange ongoing support so there’s someone familiar with your setup whenever you need help.

Is support remote or on-site?

Most problems with websites, email, DNS, hosting and cloud accounts are solved remotely and securely, which is usually faster for you. If something genuinely requires someone on-site, we’ll tell you upfront.

What kinds of businesses do you support?

Small and medium-sized businesses in all kinds of industries: contractors, clinics, law and accounting offices, realtors, property managers, restaurants, retailers and online stores. You don’t need an IT department to work with us; we’re designed for businesses without one.

Can you help if we don’t know who set up our systems?

Yes, and it’s common. We’ll work out where your domain, website, hosting and email are, help recover access where possible, and document it all.

Do you fix computers and printers?

Our focus is websites, email, cloud services, domains and hosting, which is where most small-business technology issues are now. For general business IT troubleshooting, tell us what’s happening and we’ll say honestly whether we’re the right fit.
