Fingertips Solutions (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Alberta’s and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act.

When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as:

• the services you’re interested in and your preferred contact method;
• details you include about your project or technical problem.

Please don’t send passwords or other sensitive credentials through the contact form. We’ll arrange a secure way to share access if a project requires it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information for security and troubleshooting, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. To protect the contact form from abuse, we temporarily store a one-way, non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address to limit repeated submissions.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy to describe the tools used.

How we use your information

• to respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation or services you request;
• to prepare quotes, deliver projects and provide support;

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond, to provide services, and to meet legal, accounting and business-record obligations, then delete or anonymize it securely.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access, strong authentication on our accounts and secure configuration of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the appropriate regulator of any breach as required by law.

Your rights

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). We’ll respond within the time required by law. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the privacy commissioner in your province.
